Oxford, MA
Oxford is a great small town in southern Worcester County. Since it is located only 15 minutes south of Worcester, Oxford is both tucked away and close to the action. Incorporated in 1713, it was the birthplace of Clara Barton, the first president and founder of the American Red Cross. Many people choose to live in Oxford for it’s affordability and also as an easy commuting location to Worcester and Providence. Some notable points of interest in the town include the Huguenot Fort, Clara Barton’s birthplace, Hodge’s Village Dam, and Carbuncle Pond.
